A 69 Acre Dream (and the Reality)

They say you should never “work where you eat,” but apparently, I decided that didn't apply to buying 69 acres of Oregon wilderness last year.

I’ll be honest, some days I feel like the Queen of the Mountain, and other days I’m just standing in a field wondering where I put my weed whacker. I’m giving you a peek at the latest property updates today, not just because the light hits the ridge perfectly (though, come on, look at that shot), but because I want you to see what 'all-in' actually looks like.

Buying a home isn’t just a transaction; it’s a total life takeover. Between managing this estate and closing deals, I’ve learned that the only thing scarier than a massive move is an agent who doesn't know how to handle the dirt.

I’m out here doing the heavy lifting on my own land so that when we’re navigating your next big listing, nothing—not even a 69-acre curveball—phases me. I’ll hold your hand through the process, sure, but mostly I’m here to make sure you don't trip over the things you didn't see coming.

Even Mr. Bones is out here trying to find where I buried the gardening tools (and perhaps a few high-end listings). He’s a bit ‘dead’ on his feet, but he knows that in the Willamette Valley, late March is the make-or-break moment for your curb appeal. If you want those premium offers, you have to wake your property up from its winter slumber.

Spring Cleaning Your Home Before You List?

I Can Help.

Thinking of listing this season? Don't just slap a sign in the yard. Here’s how we prep a home to stand out in a competitive market:

  • The Moss Exorcism: This is Oregon. If your roof or driveway looks like a forest floor, it’s a red flag for buyers. Clean it up before the first showing.

  • The 'Scare-Free' Entry: Your front door is the first handshake. Fresh paint, clean hardware, and zero cobwebs. We want 'Welcome Home,' not 'Welcome to the Crypt.'

  • Light & Air: Open the heavy drapes and wash the windows. High-end buyers pay for the view, not the dust motes.

  • The Professional Eye: Before you spend $10k on a remodel you don't need, let me walk through with you. Sometimes a weekend of 'de-cluttering the ghosts of Christmas past' is all it takes to add zeros to your bottom line.

If you’re thinking about putting your home on the market this year, give me a call! I’ll answer your questions and walk you through each step, so you can confidently move to your next home.

We had a great night of networking with many of these folks and I want to share their contact information, so you’ve got someone to call for any job.

From roofers, to insurance, and even radon testing, we’ve got you covered. I’ve worked with each one of these businesses and highly recommend them for the outstanding work they’ve done for me each time.

Pet Corner

My fur babies had a dedicated pet sitter while I was out of town for the weekend and from the looks of it, they had a fabulous time!

It’s a tough life, but someone has to do it. Whether they’re patrolling the 69 acres or just napping in a sunbeam, these guys really are the heartbeat of our home. If you’re looking to add a little chaotic joy to your own house, please go see the amazing humans at one of the pet adoption agencies below. They are experts at matching beautiful souls with their fur-ever homes.

Reviews That Make Me Blush 😊

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave me a review on Google. It really makes an incredible difference for my business and I cannot thank you enough.

I read every single one and love them all, but I’ll share some that stood out to me.

Worked with me on a home? Leave a Google Review! It helps me connect with other buyers and sellers who could use a hand-holding Realtor.
