Happy New Year!

I was ready for 2026 about halfway through 2025 😜!

I know for many of you that you have New Year's resolutions, goals, and dreams. I hope you make 2026 everything you want it to be and accomplish what you set out to do.

I, myself, am striving to simply be a decent person most days (every day is just not a reasonable ask). I hope to treat others as I would like to be treated. Hey, sometimes sass is very much NEEDED!

I also believe in karma, so that brings me joy all year long.

Speaking of things that bring me joy…

For Christmas this year I got one of the best gifts, and that was seeing my beautiful hardworking daughter buy her 2nd home!

I am beyond inspired by this woman and how hard she works to achieve her goals. She is so much more than strong & independent! She is so much more than two words.

She is resilient, persistent, resourceful, sassy (had to make sure that was in here), a problem-solver, a motivator, a teacher, and not just an amazing daughter, she is my friend.

Love you kiddo! Congratulations on your new home.

I believe each life is about learning for the next life. 2025 taught me a few things I will not forget as well as reminded me of some things I should not repeat (spanks).

My biggest take away this year was remembering to pause, to take a breath or even five, to not feel like I have to respond immediately, to allow myself the moment to absorb the information I am receiving and most importantly how I am FEELING about that information.

By doing this I found a source of calm and positivity in me that may not have been missing, but was definitely waning.

Being successful comes at an emotional cost that cannot be recharged with an energy drink or a box of chocolate (although at the time it seems to). I relate to this image 🤣🤣🤣
