It's OFFICIALLY HALFWAY TO HALLOWEEN!

Mr. Bones and I are READY READY READY 🎃👻🧛‍♀️

This year is going to be a Boo-tastic Halloween. Halloween is on a Saturday this year and that always makes my Halloween celebration easy to come to and makes for a phenomenal turnout.

This year I will even have a spirit-filled barn to party in.

It also is the 7-year anniversary for me and my husband, and that is exciting for us. Random fact: the 7-year anniversary gift is copper.

With that in mind we are doing a signature drink from a copper style cup and we are calling it a "Monster Mule," a fun play off of the traditional Moscow Mule drink that is made with lime, ginger beer, and spirits.

In line with the throwback theme we are requesting people dress in vintage costumes like Dracula, mummies, ghosts, and monsters.

Speaking of reasons to celebrate! May showers did indeed bring April flowers!

Come join me at my annual event Dig In the Dirt and pick out some of those flowers!

You can also have some fun creating a pot of flowers of your own, painting rocks, enjoying some lunch, and even taking some dirt home (bring buckets).

April was a wonderful month for me for many great reasons. The biggest reason being my mom's birthday was on April 19th and I miss her every day so I celebrate her even more during April.

Each year about this time I try and spend time with my bestie Laura who knew my mom when we were teenagers and we celebrate the wild spirit that my mom was. This year we found ourselves in Florida and had a fun-filled, laughter-filled trip.

If you are not laughing enough to make breathing nearly impossible, peeing yourself, or heck, both, then you’re not embracing the fun that my mom was capable of having and inspiring in those around her.

Here are a few pictures from Florida and one of my favorites of my mom.

My love for animals started young with my mom and I always loved having pets in our home and learning they make our lives so much better.

This month I did something I have NEVER done before and I would absolutely do again.

BUNNY YOGA!

This yoga session supported a local rescue group and a lender who has worked hard to get this first-time event created.

Avalon Microsanctuary

Avalon Microsanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit who rescues rabbits from harmful, neglectful, and abusive situations. The animals are treated by a veterinarian and placed in new homes after a thorough application and vetting process.
