Happy Birthday to Luke Lucas my love and soul mate! I can say many things about how great this man is! In fact, I will, lol. He is kind, strong, loves animals, has a wicked & warped sense of humor, hardworking, goofy, intelligent, a car guy (I love this about him), he is my safe place and my happy place all in one handsome package. I believe in celebrating the people in your life that make it worth living. That is what September is all about for my husband. We go to the Wildlife Safari on Friday the 6th for a private Hippo Experience and a fundraising event for the new Painted Dogs exhibit coming soon. Have you been to the Wildlife Safari in Winston? If you have not and ever want to go, just let me know and I am happy to take you with my season passes. This place is definitely a happy place for me and Luke and we would happily share it.

Luke's actual birthday is September 17th and we will be celebrating it in South Carolina in Charleston with two of our friends. Charleston is a town full of history, beauty, and the oldest brewery! Stay tuned in October for some great pictures from all of this birthday fun.
Another great reason to celebrate is Halloween and the fun I have decorating for it. In last month’s newsletter I offered for the 1st time ever to select two yards to decorate. Congrats goes to Anthony & Kim Hammer and Jim & Holly Potter. I will be decorating their yards on October 1st!!! I will post pictures and videos in the October newsletter and on FB and Instagram. If you missed out this year be sure and watch for the chance next year.
