 Celebrating Luke this September 
Happy BIRTHDAY to my amazing husband and best friend, Luke Lucas. This month is special for me because I get to extra spoil Luke and celebrate his birthday! If you’ve seen me out working on a property, chances are Luke wasn’t far behind the scenes. He’s the one hauling stuff with our trailer, putting signs up, cutting grass, painting, or lending a hand with the endless little projects that make my business run smoothly.
Luke and I found each other as friends and fell in love! I’m grateful every day that we did. I appreciate his energy, steady presence, and willingness to tackle just about anything alongside me. Recently, we took a big leap together and bought a home on over 60 acres of land. I can’t wait to see him enjoy the space — exploring, creating, and yes, playing — after all the work he pours into everything we do.
So here’s to Luke: the quiet strength behind so much of what I do, and the best partner I could ask for.

 Meet Mr. Bones 
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love having a little fun with my marketing. This month, I tried something brand new — and let me tell you, I was nervous! I love working with people, but not so much being photographed. Unless I'm taking the picture lol. But once we got rolling, it was such a blast to do an agent tour for one of my listings.
Meet Mr. Bones, my newest sidekick. He’s a skeleton with a knack for real estate and a great sense of humor. You’ll spot him soaking his old bones in a soaker tub, hiding out in closets, and most importantly — pointing out the good bones of a home.
We filmed our very first tour together at 120 Chicago, and I can’t wait for you to see it. (Scroll down for the video!) I had such a blast making this, and I think Mr. Bones is here to stay. Who knew skeletons made such great business partners?
He even insisted on writing a little note for the newsletter. (Yes, apparently skeletons have opinions too!) Here’s what he had to say:
“Greetings, dear readers! ’Tis I, Mr. Bones — your most distinguished home guide and general supervisor of Angela. I’ve crept through closets, soaked in tubs, and rattled my way across the floorboards, and I must confess: this house has truly splendid bones. Why, even I feel positively lively within these walls!

 Stout & Gantu’s Corner 
And of course, I can’t wrap up without sharing a peek at my favorite sidekicks, Stout and Gantu. They’ve been loving the new property — from chasing each other through wide open fields to finding the perfect sun spots to nap in. It makes me so happy to see them settling in and enjoying the space as much as we are. Stout and Gantu have also taken on a new role as well. I think they got a little jealous of all the attention Mr. Bones is getting. They are now rating my listings and even some under contract homes with a paw system      . So stay tuned for that on my posts. I’ll be honest Stout is way more picky and if you get a 5 Paw rating from her you know you picked the right home.
